Monday 17 April 2017 Storage space for Sealegs boat

The Aileen is a 20-metre Sparkman & Stephens sloop, built by Royal Huisman Shipyard. It is one of the fastest boats of its class in the world, which it proved by winning the Vineyard Cup regatta in 2018. Captain Rick Haslet and his wife Christine had one request: to create a storage space for their Sealegs boat.

We gladly accepted the challenge. We first developed a cradle with the minimum dimensions required for the Sealegs boat. Based on that design, we subsequently made the layout for the Portobox. Apart from storage for the Sealegs boat, we tried to create as much space as possible for spare parts, tools, materials and a workbench. We ended up gaining a very satisfied customer!
