Two containers for Regatta sailing yacht ‘SY Nilaya’ »
| Sleek, lightweight and impressive: the perfect description of sailing yacht Nilaya. This ‘featherlight’ sailing yacht combines the best of two worlds: regatta races and long cruises across large bodies of water. Commissioned by captain Romke Lopik, we have realized two support containers that put all the important materials within the crew’s reach.
| Mr. Federico Pettenella commissioned Vitters Shipyard to build a spectacular ‘50-metre-plus’ sailing yacht. SY Alea was launched in spring 2022 and is capable of sailing all over the world. Therefore the crew had a specific request for two service containers for this yacht. One storage container and one workshop container.
| In 2018 Royal Huisman Shipyard contracted us to build a Portobox for one of their trusted customers, an American entrepreneur. This unit was for the 42-meter yacht named Hanuman. For details see previous reference on this website.
| In 2014, an American entrepeneur, commissioned an envy-inspiring replica of the legendary 1937 Super J-Class yacht Endeavour 2. The 42-metre yacht built by Royal Huisman Shipyard was named Hanuman. For this ship, the crew of replaced the containers serving as a workshop and storage space with a Portobox.
| The Aileen is a 20-metre Sparkman & Stephens sloop, built by Royal Huisman Shipyard. It is one of the fastest boats of its class in the world, which it proved by winning the Vineyard Cup regatta in 2018. Captain Rick Haslet and his wife Christine had one request: to create a storage space for their Sealegs boat.
| The 43.6-metre sailing superyacht SVEA was delivered by Vitters Shipyard in 2017. Not even a year later, it won the J-Class title in the prestigious St. Barths Bucket regatta. For the crew, led by manager Charlie Ogletree, we created two Portoboxes: a workshop and a storage space.
